What is BARRE?

Barre is a fitness class that is inspired by utilizing elements of ballet, Pilates + yoga. Created to target all muscles of the body during every class + insures long, lean muscle, increased flexibility + higher self-confidence! 


Why BARRE406?

Our signature format, Barre Rhythm, moves you through every muscle group in each 45-50 minute class. You will get lost in the music + choreography while sculpting your muscles + burning major calories! No dance, barre or fitness experience required.


Barre is hard on the muscles, but kind on the joints. The small, controlled movements that take place in barre classes reduce pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments + spine. By doing barre regularly, you’ll notice an improvement in your core strength + posture. 

It works muscles to failure. The tiny motions, many reps, intentional squeezes, pulses, + isometric moves are designed to fatigue muscles to failure. This is where the MAGIC happens! Embrace the shaking, it means you are exhausting the muscle + forcing it to tone. 

You will gain increased flexibility. Through focused stretching, an improved range of motion is another benefit of barre. Sometimes people are flexible but not strong, or vice versa... barre classes teach your body to be both. 

Tone body. Many of the workouts target the largest muscle groups in the body – like the thighs + glutes. The larger the muscle, the more calories burned. As you continue to attend barre classes, you will build more lean muscle mass + raise your resting metabolic rate, which can help you produce more energy + expend more calories. 


Barre class floods into the rest of your life in many ways. After class, you will notice yourself walking a little taller, naturally eating a little healthier, sleeping better + able to take on your day-to-day tasks a lot more confidently.

No dance, ballet, or fitness experience needed in order to take class

We provide ALL equipment for every class

Please wear whatever attire you are most comfortable to workout in

You can wear grippy socks or go barefoot

Free lockers with keys are provided for your personal belongings


Please refrain from wearing perfume into class

We have free, easy parking right in front of our studio
